Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust is a fixed income mutual fund launched by Invesco Ltd that primarily invests in municipal bonds rated BB or better by Standard & Poor's or Ba or better by Moody's. The fund is co-managed by Invesco Advisers, Inc., and various INVESCO Asset Management entities. It uses a fundamental analysis with bottom-up security selection approach, and was previously known as Morgan Stanley Municipal Income Opportunities Trust.
