Deutsche Municipal Income Trust is a fixed income mutual fund managed by Deutsche Investment Management Americas, Inc., which invests in the US fixed income markets. The fund invests primarily in tax-exempt municipal securities that are rated Baa or BBB or better and are exempt from federal income tax. The fund benchmarks its portfolio performance against the Barclays Municipal Bond Index.
