Deutsche Strategic Municipal Income Trust is a closed-ended fixed income mutual fund that invests in the US fixed income markets. It primarily invests in municipal securities that are exempt from federal income tax rated at least B by Moody's or B- by Standard & Poor's. The fund benchmarks its portfolio against the Barclays Municipal Bond Index.
