Nuveen S&P 500 Buy-Write Income Fund invests in US public equity markets through index call options. It aims to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 Index by investing in companies from different sectors proportionally to their weight in the index. Launched in 2004, the fund used to be called Nuveen Equity Premium Income Fund.
